About

Where it all started

In 2003, a four year old Josh Wood Recived his first go-kart for Christmas, ever since its been his life and passion.

The minimum age for a driver to take a kart around a track was six years old, and because Josh was too young, it was up to his dad, John Wood, to take Josh down to an abandoned Roles-Royce carpark in snowy scotland to allow him to gain seat time.

In only a few years time, Josh was eventually racing, and in his first year won the summerlee open scottish championship, club championship and the marshals award; also achived by people like David Coulthard and Dario Franchitti.

Then and now

In 2008, Josh and his family moved to Australia and within three weeks, Josh was racing agian. In 2009-10 Josh had won both the WA and NT state championships, the city of perth championship , the karting stars champion ship and the western cup.

Since then Josh has moved up through the ranks of juniors and seniors, qualifing first; two years in a row at the WA state championship and fourth at the VIC state championship.

Josh Now races in the WA Kz series, working hard to achive the rookie of the year award. Josh has also recently started his car racing career, racing in the WA excel cup.
